September 2012 Photo Outing – Danada Forest Preserve

Saturday, September 29, 2012, MAPS visited Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton, IL. Danada has a rich history as the former home of Daniel and Ada Rice, and Kentucky Derby winner Lucky Debonair. Today, the preserve is the home of Danada Equestrian Center, which is surrounded by 783 acres of rolling terrain that encompass wetlands, woodlands and prairies. It was a bright and crisp morning, with a hint of fog in the ealry moments.  Chcek out the images captured by MAPS Members below.
