Photo Outing – Sunflowers Days at Pope Farm Conservancy, Middleton, WI – Thursday, Aug. 17 (rain date, Aug, 18)
The sunflowers will be located at the top of the hill, near the iconic stone fence. Please continue to check Pope Farm Conservancy’s website which contains a great deal of helpful information –https://www.popefarmconservancy.org/events/sunflower-days/ or their Facebook page for more info regarding the 2017 sunflower crop. Also there are directions and plenty of sunflower information given on both sites.
Early mornings are best as the east-facing sunflowers catch the sun as it rises. It is also less crowded. Your host, Claudia Frost 630-772-0109 or email@example.com will meet you at the main entrance one half hour before sunrise. Photographers may want to stay overnight the day before and spend a little time scoping out the place beforehand.
