Sunset on Bandon Beach Each evening another spectacular sunset presents itself. There are monoliths shaped into spires & other equally unique shapes. Over 300 bird species have been spotted in the area. Bandon is a harbor town that is part of the south coast. To date it is the most scenic area I have seen along the Oregon coastline. The Coquille River Lighthouse(1896) is located nearby this seaside village. This lighthouse is a favorite subject to photograph at sunset.
