MAPS 6th Annual Nature Photography Exhibit
The Morton Arboretum
May 2017

Our 6th Nature Photography Exhibit started off with a bang when we opened our Exhibit to friends and family with a reception on Friday evening in the Cudahy Room. Attendance exceeded expectations. The artwork of our members was the best yet. It was evident how we shine as we continue to educate ourselves and practice our craft. The room and lobby were beautiful. The presentation of the artwork, through careful consideration, was presented brilliantly. The raffle baskets tempted guests to buy a ticket. The food was fantastic. The wine flowed easily. A good time was held by all.

On Saturday, May 6, we opened our doors to all who were attending the Morton Arboretum. It was “Tails on the Trails” day and many people took turns watching their dogs outside the building while the other people in their party ran into the building to view our exhibit. Sunday, May 7, was the last day of our exhibit and the best yet. Attendance was high and many of our members sold pieces of their art. But, like all good things, the exhibit had to come to an end. The raffle basket winners were announced, and soon after the exhibit were dismantled.

A big “shout out” goes to all the volunteers that worked so tirelessly to put this exhibit together. You made it wonderful!

Thank you, Darcy Berg, Exhibits Chairperson
