MAPS 4th Annual Nature Photography Exhibit
The Morton Arboretum
May 2015
Our 4th Annual MAPS Nature Photography Exhibit took place in the Sycamore Room at The Morton Arboretum on Saturday, May 2nd & Sunday, May 3rd, with the Artists’ Reception on Friday, May 1st.
The Sycamore Room was transformed for the weekend into a gallery featuring 158 pieces of framed artwork created by 64 MAPS members. Bin art, donated art, and an array of raffle items made the exhibit a popular place to visit at the Arboretum over the weekend. 850 visitors entered the Sycamore to view and/or purchase the artwork and take a chance on the raffles.
The Annual Exhibit was only possible because of the generous support and help from many people: The MAPS Exhibits Team, member volunteers, business donors from the community, and the Arboretum staff. We are thankful for people like these, who put together events like this, for all of us to enjoy! Click on any image to enlarge:
