January 18, 2014 – Macro Mania at The Morton Arboretum

On a snowy Saturday morning, MAPS members stayed warm and dry inside the lovely Sycamore Room at the Arboretum to experiment with abstract macro photography. We had four stations set up including oil & water, textured glass, glycerin drops, and Slinky art. Everyone became really creative with their set-ups, and some very unusual images resulted. We had a good time sharing our “victories” as we all experimented with the different mediums. Many of us took time out between the morning and afternoon sessions to have lunch in the Ginkgo Room. It was a fun day with lots of sharing!
