This is a photograph of the Golden Gate Bride, city of San Francisco, and a full moon taken on June 22nd, 2013 during the Super Moon. The photographers position is along the access road leading to the top of the Marin Headlands. There were approximatly 400 photograhpers waiting to capture the full moon as it rose in the East. We had to wait an additional hour after the rise of the full moon to take this photograph as the setting sun was to bright to capture detail of the moons surface. The light lighting the top of the north tower and thedowntown district of San Francisco was gone a few minutes after the photograph was taken.
