Monday, December 9th – The Arbor Room at Thornhill – 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
MAPS members and their guests are invited to get together for a night of photography sharing, raffles, games, food, and fun at the MAPS Holiday Party on Monday, December 9th. The party will begin at 6:30 pm in the Arbor Room at the Thornhill Education Center. The evening’s festivities will include these exciting events:
Location! Location! Location! – Members’ images with captions of locations will be presented in a slide show. Search your files for a nature-inspired image, old or new, and give it a caption by telling us where you were when you took the image. The caption can be whimsical, serious, goofy, sincere, beautiful or zany……….be creative and use your imagination! You can send in as many images as you like.
Image Sharing – You are welcome to bring a print of your favorite image(s) to display. We will simply lay the prints on tables for viewing, so they do not need to be matted or framed. Clear print sleeves are recommended to protect prints, or you may prefer to place your prints in an album.
Raffles and Games – Prizes and fun are waiting for you!
Grand Prize Raffle – The Morton Arboretum has donated a class of your choice at the Arboretum! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to win a free class at the Arboretum for the price of a raffle ticket; 1 ticket for $3 or 2 tickets for $5!
Food – We are asking that each member bring a small dish to share. Because everyone will be contributing food, please limit your dish to ten servings.
