The MAPS outing to Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo on Saturday, December 15th provided some challenges due to the weather conditions yet gave us some opportunities throughout the night to catch images of not only the animals but the beautifully lit displays as well. We were dazzled with holiday trees, light displays, ice sculptures, laser programs, entertainers and stage shows throughout the zoo. We met up with the Mayslake Nature Study and Photographic Society attendees for dinner and then went back outside to capture the evening lights.
