April 2013 Outing #2 – Black Partridge

Sunday’s MAPS outing to Black Partridge Woods had 19 photographers crouching on the forest floor, walking along the stream and climbing hillsides. Black Partridge Woods is a great place that has photo opportunities in every season. The overcast skies Sunday morning gave us nice, even light. Some of the wildflowers were a little camera-shy, but we were able to find plenty of compositions. It was nice to see new members joining us for this photo outing and for breakfast.

Steven Mayer held a couple of wonderful macro lighting demos for participants when we first arrived. And Dave Schooley entertained us with his snake charming skills before we headed off to breakfast. Thanks for sharing, Steven and Dave!
