On a snowy Saturday morning MAPS members and their friends traveled to Garfield Park Conservatory. We had the run of the place, as very few others ventured out that morning. There were plenty of subjects to photograph from the cacti in the desert house, to the variety of tropical flowers and palms, to the Chihuly water lilies and accompanying carp, to the seasonal display of pink, white and red poinsettias in the Horticultural Hall. After the outing we went to Inspiration Kitchen to enjoy lunch and conversation.
