MAPS members had fun at Stillman Nature Center in South Barrington. Mark Spreyer and his volunteer team did a great job setting up the raptors. Information on the raptors was provided both verbally and in handouts and was excellent. The raptors were staged in natural areas along a circular trail and were spread out so there was plenty of room for everyone. Beyond the rapter staging area we had an opportunity to explore Stillman’s extensive prairie and nature preserve. There was a pond with a bird viewing platform. Mark’s raptor shoot was a big success.
