Several MAPS members ventured out to Springbrook Prairie in Naperville to photograph in the last light of day. Unfortunately, they had to deal with breezy conditions and lackluster prairie color. The wind blew the beautiful clouds away before sunset leaving them with a rather unappealing sky. Even with all these unfavorable conditions, MAPS members were working their cameras and tripods with great passion and were able to come away with a few amazing images. Those who made it to Lou Malnati’s afterwards had a nice time visiting with friends and eating lots of great pizza. And thanks to Gail and Steve, we had wonderful service as well!
