April 12, 2014 – Kline Creek Farm – West Chicago

A very large group of MAPS photographers enjoyed a warm spring morning to take a step back in time and explore Kline Creek Farm. We had opportunities to photograph livestock including new arrivals of sheep and cows. A barn that stores and displays old farm equipment added interest. An authentic farmhouse filled with historical pieces was also a popular stop. Some tried walking down to explore opportunities at the winding creek. Volunteers working on the farm were more than happy to stop their chores to answer questions and even pose for a picture. After the outing we went to Oakfield Restaurant where we were lucky enough to have a private room to enjoy brunch and conversation.
