Sixteen MAPS members enjoyed a beautiful morning at the Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford. For many it was their first visit there and served as an introduction to this small peaceful garden. Highlights were the waterfall, the carp and the heron that posed and occasionally took flight from one side of the pond to the other. The leaves were just starting to turn and the Japanese Maples provided some nice color. Afterwards we enjoyed lunch and conversation at the garden restaurant. Thanks to all who attended.
