Starved Rock State Park

Many thanks to the handful of MAPS members who attended the Starved Rock photo outing. We hiked into Saint Louis Canyon to see this graceful waterfall. While the water flow was a little low, it is still a beautiful location with plenty of rocks and fall colors.

We then photographed the “upper” waterfall at Matthiessen State Park (thanks to Darcy for showing us the easy way in). We then stopped at the “Giant’s Bathtub” before enjoying lunch together at the Lodge.
