The presenter of this month’s program, Dan Anderson, will discuss the hallmarks of good black and white photos. Dan will show why monochrome imagery can allow more creative tonal control than color, and he will show the importance of critical contrast in black and white photographs. Photo Review Night
Apr 2026This month’s program is designed to give members an opportunity to receive expert advice about their photographs. Members are encouraged to submit images interpreting the theme, Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring, but this is not a requirement; all image subjects will be accepted. Members are invited to submit photographs between March 9 and April 10 for our panel of three members to review and critique at the April 13 monthly meeting. Time permitting, the panel will review 30 images. One image per member will be selected until we have a total of 30 images. PROCAM is an industry leader in retail photographic and video gear as well as printing facilities.
