“Illumination” at The Morton Arboretum

Join MAPS for an exclusive photography outing to the 13th annual Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum! Journey along a one-mile paved pathway of dazzling color, music, and light, featuring a spectacular holiday finale in the Gerald T. Donnelly Grand Garden.

Because this is a special Staff Preview night, the grounds are closed to the general public, giving our members uncrowded access to capture stunning night scenes.

Event Details

• Date: Wednesday, November 11
• Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• On-Site Meetup: Look for Chuck Diewald near the rideshare drop-off zone to get your ticket.

Pricing & Tickets

• MAPS Members: Subsidized price of $15
• Guests: $30 each (please indicate guest count on the registration form)

Registration & Payment Deadline

This is a pre-paid event. You must register and submit your payment by the November MAPS meeting on November 9. No late registrations or payments can be accepted.

• Payment Method: Checks made payable to MAPS are preferred, though cash is accepted.
• How to Pay: Deliver your payment to Chuck Diewald at an outing, program, or the November meeting, or contact him to make alternative arrangements.

What to Bring

• Camera gear for night shooting
• Weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor walking
• Tripods (recommended, but please do not block pathways)
