Speaker Bio

David duChemin wants to help you make the strongest, most compelling photographs of your life, and to do so with joy and freedom. His tips will assist you in creating photographs that are more than just good and truly your own.

David is a photographer and author based—when home—on Vancouver Island, Canada. For years, he worked as a humanitarian photographer creating images of hope and dignity for the international NGO community. David’s work pivoted after a life-altering accident in 2011 while photographing in Italy. Now a below-the-knee amputee, David turns his lens toward the natural world and nudges others to pursue a life of intention and creativity.
