Mindful Still Life

Our very own Christine Foley will share her creative ability with you, and help you make a mindful still life photograph. Please see the detailed information below.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to create mindful still life images. We will start with a slide presentation and then a tethered demonstration, in which you will learn about constant lighting, how to see, shape, and control the light. Simple composition techniques for stronger still-life images will be presented. The majority of the time, you will set up and photograph your own mindful still life.

Set-ups Provided: Six constant light sources with soft boxes and light stands, for six tabletop set ups- plus multiple textured background and a few bounce cards
