Focus on Nature – Fall ’24 Exhibition

Helen Plum Library in Lombard hosted our MAPS nature photography exhibit, “Focus on Nature”, from Sept. 20 through November 1, 2024.  The library and Morton Arboretum Photographic Society (MAPS) planned this exhibit as a way to bring art to the community and showcase the beautiful new Helen Plum Library space at 411 S. Main St in Lombard.  Eighty fine art photographs were displayed throughout the library. Inspired by The Morton Arboretum’s dedication to protecting the environment and being the “Champion of Trees”, this photographic fine art exhibit provided unique insight into the beautiful diversity of habitats, animals, waters, skies, trees, plants, landscapes and geology of planet earth.

Many thanks go out to Anne Luzeniecki, Sue Wisley and Steph Koblich of the Helen Plum Library for taking on this new endeavor. Our exhibit was their very first in the new library. Dulcey Lima and Mary Mehl worked together with these wonderful staff members to put on this successful show.
