Join MAPS for a Photo Outing at the Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville, WI.

The Rotary Botanical Gardens is an award-winning 20-acre nonprofit botanic showcase. The site contains a number of themed gardens including Japanese, Scottish, French formal, Italian and English cottage gardens. Photograph the red Japanese-styled bridge, the sunken garden surrounded by limestone walls and the Tudor-style stone arch. There are also less formal gardens, such as fern, moss, shade, prairie and woodland. There is also a charming gift shop with local artisan’s works.

Located on the south side of Janesville, it is just over the Wisconsin border an all highway trip of about 45 minutes. Just take Interstate 90 through Rockford and pick up 90/36 north. Exit at the Racine St. exit a couple of miles past the Wisconsin border west and take a left at Palmer Drive to 1455 Palmer Drive, Janesville, WI 53545. Call them at 608-752-3885 if you have questions. Meet your host Roger Mattingly at the gardens.
For any questions, call Roger at (224) 223-2532.
Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and walking during the outdoor photograph session.
There is a Culver’s on the east side of the Racine exit we can gather at after 12:00pm for lunch.
