Special Interest Groups (SIGS)

Every month before our MAPS Program at Thornhill, we hold Special Interest Group meetings – or “SIGS”. These are small group meetings at which a specific photography topic is discussed. The topics rotate between even and odd numbered months. All SIG groups gather from 6:00pm until 6:45pm, right before the monthly main meeting at the Arboretum.

ODD NUMBERED MONTHS (January, March, May, July, September, and November)

Currently, the three groups that meet during these months are “Post-Processing” (which meets on the 2nd Tuesday 6:30-7:30 on Zoom), “Landscape Photography” and “Birds, Wildlife and Insects.” Members can bring in images for discussion if they wish.

EVEN NUMBERED MONTHS (February, April, June, August, October, and December)

Currently, the three groups that meet during these months are “Post-Processing”, “Flower Photography” and “Cell Phone Photography.” Members can bring in images for discussion if they wish.

There is no prior registration for these SIGS. All you have to do is show up at 6:00 and meet downstairs at Thornhill. Be ready for some lively discussion!
