Composition & Creativity in the Field

Learn the art of visual composition, some of Robert E. Potter III’s favorite tips and tricks and how to have fun in the field creating images. The workshop occurs prior to the MAPS’ Member Picnic.

What to Bring (Required):
An open and inquisitive mind
Your Camera (with battery fully charged)
Memory card
A lens (one you like to use)
I will use my 24mm to 100mm zoom

Optional (Nice to Have):
Tripod or monopod
My monopod doubles as a walking stick!

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and good walking shoes.

Location: Blackwell Forest Preserve – East Pavilion, Warrenville, IL – located on the north side of Butterfield Road 0.25 miles west of Winfield Road

Skill Level: Beginner–Intermediate & Advanced
