“Illumination 2025” at The Morton Arboretum

** NOTE: Registration required by end-of-day on Sunday November 9th  **

Join MAPS for an opportunity to photograph the Arboretum’s annual Illumination holiday lights exhibition. The theme Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum returns for the Arboretum’s 12th annual edition. Journey along the one-mile long paved walkway amid festive music and the lighting of the Arboretum’s majestic trees during this one-of-a-kind spectacle of color, light and sound. This year features dazzling new displays as well as returning favorites. You will also experience an exciting Illumination display in The Gerald T. Donnelly Grand Garden, leading to a spectacular holiday-light finale.

We have secured 20 tickets for members at a MAPS-subsidized price of $15 each for the night of Wednesday, November 12 in the early evening (awaiting confirmation on exact time.)

This is a special “Staff Preview” night and there will not be anyone from the general public on the grounds.

Guests are not allowed unless there are extra tickets available. (If you are interested in guest tickets please contact Chuck Diewald. If guest tickets are available, they are $30 each.)

Please be sure to bring your payment on the night of the shooting. Check made payable to MAPS is preferred, although cash will be accepted. Be sure to look for Chuck Diewald near the rideshare drop off zone to make your payment and receive your ticket. Please be sure to dress for the weather and have your gear for night shooting. Tripods will be allowed but be sure not to block any walkways.
